ac removal
« on: October 23, 2010, 09:52:38 pm »
Here's the thing i would like to remove my ac without hurting my heat in the truck i never use ac anyways, figured it was a waste of time to have in the truck. My question is can i remove all of the ac parts without losing my heat in the truck or are the two not even connected together and don't matter anyways. Thanks

Yes you can but if you have no better reason to remove it than that you should keep it. Makes the truck more valuable with it as well.

I guess it depends how hot it gets. I took mine off. It wasnt worth it to ME to fix what needed to be fixed.

they make aftermarket boxes that replace the evap box. Once you remove the evap and box shell, you replace it with this piece and your done.. its about 150.

Your lucky not to need AC. Down here I would not even consider buying a truck without AC.
