Full size, 1/2 ton, small block, with 38's, and you want mileage? Bahahahaha  ;D. I tend to think there isn't much your going to do to get any significant gains. Keeping it tuned, clean filters, and driving very easy is about all you can do. If they claim to give better mileage then it can't hurt to run them.
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

I haven't seen those E3 plugs in bigger engines like our trucks have, but if you have a mower, weed eater or blower,  buy them, now.

my blower and weed eater start on the first pull now and you can hit full throttle with them immediately and they don't stall now.  they're only 2 years old and they always stalled and were hard to start since they were new.

our 2 cylinder 25hp kohler engine in our john deere mower now uses about 1/4 less fuel to do the same job.

From what I've read, its pretty hit or miss in auto engines.  I thought about trying them but the high price is detering me.  maybe ill put some in the focus first, it only needs 4... ;)

i have the e3's in the 80. i was having problems with the autolite and champion's fouling. got e3's and not an ounce of sputter with them. plus if you don't like them they have a 5 year guarantee on them and they told me if i didn't like them with in that time they would return them and give the cash back no questions asked. just my opinion.

I use them in my truck. I haven't seen much of a difference.  However, it does idle better.
