Found a factory tach dash!!

I decided to go with a factory dash in my 78 Silverado.  I found a good deal ($125.00) on a factory tach dash, but I'm unsure sure of the year.  It has a volt meter instead of amps and a mechanical oil pressure gauge.  It has a 5000 rpm tach with red lines, if that helps.  It needs a new printed circuit and I'm not sure which year to get.  Chris, do you carry any dash parts, I didn't see any?  Thanks!!

Why does it need a new printed circuit? The tach isn't run off the printed circuit if that's the problem. Unless it's fried you can usually clean them up.

volts with a mechanical oil is a 76-77 cluster.  You will have to repin all of the wiring.  And you need the printed circuit that came with it.  I don't have cluster pieces, check with Cheyenne pickup.  If you didn't get part of the oil fitting, you aren't going to be able to find the same ferrulel as aftermarket.  It is hit/miss if it seals.

The printed circuit is messed up in other places besides the tach which is as you said, hard wired.  I also got a wiring kit from American Auto, perhaps between two I will be able to make it work.  I never thought about having to repin the plug... never easy is it.

Hey Chris, Vile and all.  Could I not just buy a 1978 TACH circuit panel and use the oil pressure gauge (electric) from my 78.  I could hardwire the tach and put the small gas gauge where the clock would go (lower left corner) in a non tach dash.  Not sure if I'm making any sense here but I hope you get my drift.

volunteer vette has the ferrule in a kit www.volvette.com part number EC21 for SB, EC22 for BB, I saw them somewhere else too a while back.

You can you just may have to jumper a few pins around. Keep the original for reference and notate what moved where. then you should be good to go. I've posted quite a few gauge cluster schematics on here if you try searching I'm sure you'll find some that match.
