Carb. question
« on: October 31, 2010, 08:23:20 pm »
Was wonderin' what this thing is on the passenger rear side of the carb.  Behind the electric choke.  It has a rod on it that runs next to the electric choke and has a vacuum hose on it.  What's it for?

Here's a picture.  This ain't my carb. or my picture, but it shows what I'm talkin' about on mine.  Far left on the picture is the item in question.

Thanks

Ok, cool.  So, is it doing anything if the electric choke ain't hooked up?

Thanks again

It just occurred to me, when this pick-up was first purchased (about five years ago now) it had a penny or somethin' like that driven into the carb. to keep the butterfly flap thing all the way open.  lol  I had forgotten about that!   ::)
