Fuel Filler Neck
« on: November 28, 2010, 10:53:00 pm »
Hey, I'm having a hard time in finding a replacement fuel filler neck for my 1978 Chevy C10. I was missing it when I purchased the truck. It's on the passenger side fuel tank and it's not terribly important or vital right now but I have looked everywhere even for some sort of universal replacement. I'm willing to mod it just so it works whether it's drilling holes or whatever. It still has the fuel tank and just needs the filler tube, vent and neck. Any ideas would be great and places to look or things to try would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

I have had good luck finding used ones from diesel trucks. They seem to not rust lick the ones out of gas jobs. Plus they are wide open, makes it allot nicer if you ever have to fill it with a can!
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

Used is your best bet. If not it'd be easy enough to fab one up from any old donor
