84 GMC. Drop spindles, notched frame. Almost 400 horse 350. B&M turbo 350
and converter. MSD ign., Hooker headers ---- all the cool stuff.
It's currently being taken apart for a complete frame off repaint, oak bedwood,
stainless strips and hardware.

It's the only half way descent picture I've got. I'm still having problems
figuring out how to resize pictures to fit this forum.
I will be taking more pictures as the project progresses.
The truck came out of California as a L6 with a 4 speed. It's only seen
snow once for about 50 miles. It was a bare bones work truck. No radio,
no air, no PS, no dome lights. rubber mats=no carpet.
Body and paint this winter, maybe next year I'll tackle the inside.

The forum will take 800x600 images, they must be jpg images for the best quality/smallest size.

Wow, that is about the closest truck I've seen in 25 years to match what fueled my passion to own one now later in life
Although my first vehicle I ever owned was a 81 2wd Jimmy Sierra Classic in high school that I had painted metallic black wtih a charcoal top, what really caught my eye was when I was about 12 in 1987, there was a local guy who was in high school with an 86 or 87 Silverado similar to yours. White, 2wd, Cragar S/S mags. It was the 80's in the Canadian prairies so it was of course jacked up in the back with 295/50-15 tires lol He had smooth, chrome side pipes on it too and it was beautiful. I had that truck in my mind when I went shopping for a truck in 2004 but found my yellow, shorty fleet instead
