OK bringing this one back from the dead. Anyone with a 2wd 73-80 with a leaf spring suspension, please help me out here. With the vehicle on the ground give me a measurement on the drivers side of the frame to the center of the axle. I want to make sure my measurements are accurate. Use the above pictured hole as your point of reference. I'll explain after why I'm questioning a few things. Thanks

Straight up from the center of the axle and a reference on the frame to the elongated hole.

Okay, the center of my axle tube is about 1 and 1/8th" forward, toward the engine, from the left edge of the elongated hole. I cant get an exact without taking my tire off.

I figured it all out tonight. I'll post the results of my findings when I document the conversion.
