400 turbo flywheel cover

80 C20 400 turbo flywheel cover.checked tranny shops and salvage yards with no luck.heard aftermarket covers hit.i have a cast alum cover off 80 4x4 350 turbo would that fit ?any other suggestions?

I don't think so. I switched from a TH 350 to a TH 400, (best decision I ever made with that truck), a lil over 10 years ago & have collected about 15 of these cover pans & not one of them fits. So I just don't worry about it. I've never had a freezing up issue with the starter or anything else, so I don't even think about it till I'm laying under the truck for some other reason & notice it. But by the time I get out from under it, I've forgotten all about it.
   I don't know if an 8" lift has anything to do with it or not.......
'87 4x4 ~10 inches of lift on 35" General Grabber MT's ~ 350 -.060 over ~ T.H.400 ~ N.P.203 ~ Dana 44 front ~ 12 bolt rear ~ 3:73's ~ Future upgrades ~Dana 60 rear ~ N.P.205 ~ 5:13's or 5:88's ~ etc.etc.etc. ~ The list seems to get longer every week or so

you could always go "necked"...i haven't had one for years.however,i'm 4xing either.might keep crud out of there.

Or you could go naked. I prefer to have my flywheel covered.

Seems its fairly simple to make one from a th350 work on th400.....
