The replacement pumps now for these coming from places like NAPA are electric and not the same mechanical vacuum pump as original. I have one on my '77 K20 and it works Great! Provides more power to squirt higher-up than just the first few inches and provides a pretty good volume. Simple plug and play. The downside is that you don't hear the mechanical clicking anymore as the cam rotates round and round!
