Yea no offense as I am obviously an avid truck lover, but I dont see a c10 outrunning an AWD 400HP car.....:(

maybe the c10 could if you say they both have to haul a load of stones lol

I don't think they're "sissy" cars, my friend drives a Subaru and I love it. He used to have an s10 that he was building a 350 for but he got this car. I think they're great, nothing "sissy" about them. Lots of cool technology and this thing is just nuts. 449hp to the wheels, and AWD.

Here's a pic with my R10

My friend has a blue 06 WRX STI. Its a lot of fun on the dirt roads around here. The stock exhaust with the turbo sounds good too....

I agree, the STi is a blast to drive! The one in the picture I posted is modified like crazy though, 4in exhaust all the way back!

Apparently you never rode in my 67c10.  It was a swb with a 454 and a 871.  Street legal but barely.  Could never get it to hook up in the rain.  By the time I sold it it was drag only but it was still street legal.  In a straight line the skyline had no chance.

I think anything that makes over 400hp and gets 25+ mpg is cool by default.

Two lane blacktop, vanishing point, the hitcher(for the killers truck) and worlds fastest indian are some of my favorite, not so much fast and furious...though the opening scene in the latest was pretty crazy.

I give the imports props, they are impressive in the seat of the pants catergory.I just cant stand the way they sound. That and the fact that at 6'2" and about 300lbs I also dont like putting them on to go for a drive.

We have a skyline and my truck would take it.

Straight lines aren't impressive, a chimp can mash the gas.  I'll bet that skyline would run circles around your truck on a road course.

Why don't you take em both to a circuit and post us some lap times, although I wouldn't advise and extended race, that truck drinks way more than that skyline.

Ive heard this comment before...... he hadnt ever driven anything with any power either.Ive driven a 10 second car and it takes a bit more than standing on the skinny pedal and going straight. !/4 mile racing is on consistency, not just go.  I have seen these trucks built for road racing, you can modify anything. The original Fast and Furious was 1/4 mile racing and there are many of our trucks in the drag racing scene. Comparing it to a Skyline for road racing doesnt make sense. Put the Skyline up against an Indy Car or Nascar and see whats up. Thro the Skyline up against a truck in a pulling competition and see how that goes. I dont think Vile was refering to a road race comparison between the Skyline and his truck.

It would be awesome if they brought back the Grand National.
