Ordering parts?
«
on:

i have an 84 k20 with a c30 rear end 14 ff with a 6.2L
basically i need new
brake lines (all)
fuel lines (all on the frame)
body mounts (cab and front clip. have flat bed so i don't need rear)
engine parts (gasket set, stud girdle, bearings, etc, not a full fledged rebuild )
i've search and i'm having a hard time finding the right brake line kits (list only 2wd in oem) and the fuel lines.
this isn't a restoration so custom work does not bother me. i've thought about running my own fuel lines and brake lines (heard it was cheaper then buying oem) the problem is i don't know if summit would sell something like that or a similar site.
i know this site sells alot of metal replacement parts (i've purchased in the past and was pleased with the quality) . i don't know about all that other stuff. i guess i need to do some more searching but i thought i would ask to see if anyone else knew good places to buy replacement parts.
appreciate it
-dave

This is where I get my stuff until I can get them as a Vendor.
brake lines (all) and fuel lines (all on the frame) Inlinetube.com or classictube.com
body mounts (cab and front clip. have flat bed so i don't need rear) P-S-T.com
engine parts (gasket set, stud girdle, bearings, etc, not a full fledged rebuild ) summitracing.com, jegs.com, or your local parts store.
You can get lengths of tube for fuel and brake, but you would have to have a flaring tool.

You can buy various length fuel line and brake like stock from you local autoparts store, A real one like NAPA or car quest if you have one in your area. Not sure the vatozone or the like would have it. and you can get a tubing bender and make em yourself, Its a nice skill to learn vs just knowing how to order from a cataloge or website and bolt stuff on.

I've never had the luxury of getting lines made up already.
Always made my own.
