eletric fans
« on: January 11, 2011, 09:39:11 pm »
is any body running electric fans on their trucks? what fans would be sufficent for 1984 k20 with a 350? i was looking at dual 12in fans that flowed around 2100cfm, would this be enough for around town driving and free way driving? would it be better to get a puller or pusher style fan? thanks

I have a single 16" procomp fan, flows 2000cfm on my 350 and it will cool that thing down fast.  If you have an aluminum radiator a single 12 would do ya.  I mounted mine as a puller.

Advance has in stock a $20 adjustable thermostat kit, I would Highly recommend it, you never know when you'll forget to turn em on and overheat.
