Will it fit?

I am looking at buying a 1973 one ton work truck with a worn out 454 and th400 trans. Will a Pontiac 455 and th400 bolt right in of will it be a headache?

I think the only issue you'd have is the motor mounts, and I'm not sure of the adaptors. I've never done this swap, but I'm sure more experienced guys on here will have some words of wisdom.

To get it to bolt in you probably need to make mounts if the engine is a pontiac.
An olds can be made to bolt right in if you use 5.7L diesel engine mounts and stands.
