new from ITALY
« on: February 18, 2011, 10:47:00 am »
Hello, I'm from Italy.
First of all I want to sorry because I don't speak (and write) very well.
I have a 1983 chevrolet silverado 6.2 diesel. As soon as possible, I will post some photos.
When I saw this truck for the first time, I was 15 year old (now 36) and I immediatly loved it. I prayed the old owner to sell his truck for 3 long years. One day I met him and he said "hey boy, are 3 years that you still watching my truck every day. I think is the time you buy it!". And I bought it.
Now in Italy there are a lot of american cars and truck but at those time, there weren' t more american cars and I felt on the moon when I drove my big chevy truck.
Now we are in the 2011 and I continue to be in love.

That's awesome. Welcome to the site, and your writing is just fine.

Hello and welcome from Texas.  How about Valentino on the Ducati this year!  Should be exciting.  For those that don't know, Valentino Rossi is to motorcycle in Italy as what Jordan is to basketball here in the US.
