how does the wiring work?
my am originally had one speaker in the dash.
I want to go to a stereo with dual speakers.
The am/fm radio I got only has one witre to the speakers!!

if your am radio only puts out one channel, then you can only run one channel. because i doubt that you can bridge that little am to 2 ohms. and run the speakers in parallel. if you bought a cd player, or a tape player then you could have 4 channels, and run more speakers.

if you do put a new radio in you are going to have to splice into a constant power supply. the old wires do not have a constant supply. if i can remember right you have an ignition on hot wire, a ground wire, and the positive and negative speaker wires.
