« on: March 08, 2011, 04:39:11 pm »
the AR outlaws i was going to get fell through. i was going to get 4 for 300! i dont feel like paying 119$+ for them!

looking around online im not seeing really good deals, and i dont seem to remember boring rims like these (not chromed out DUB spinnerz with fake diamonds all over them) costing this much.

Look local, some tire shops also do rims, they can probably get you a decent price and the usually don't charge shipping.

X2

See if you can swing a deal to have them swap and balance the tires for you too.

im gonna do the cragar chrome quick trick cheapies, that way i can afford nicer tires! no one local could beat summit's price so i'll go that route.

anyone suggest a good tire for a 15x7? i want short wide tires with deep tread.

I am also running 15x8s.  The rear tires are 275 60 and the fronts are 235 70

i've got a secret love affair with the black cragar soft 8's, chrome center caps and all. and they're cheap enough that even a 17 with a decent tire is still a pretty good price. Id put some crazy spiked lug nut on them - there and rock em.

My truck already has so much black on it, I think black rims would look weird. But that is a good price!

If you have any plans of possibly going with bigger brakes in the future, I'd get something around a 17" wheel and tire, I know summit has the Cragar SS in 17X9, they look great imo
