Progress on my Truck
« on: April 06, 2011, 11:51:38 am »

Flipped the rear, and put ladder bars on it.

deleted all the headlights and put a phantom grille in it

Looking good so far, not a big fan of phantom grills though.

Me either, unless there is a divider bar, never been huge on the full phantoms. But its all personal preference, thats what makes your truck yours.

The truck is coming along, and I dig the valve covers too.

honestly i didnt like it ether till i saw it on it with the flat black paint...the main reason i went with it was because i deleted all the headlights for weight and a normal grille just wouldnt look right.

heres with my other grille. it was a chrome bar grille that was rusty so i painted it and the emblem with bed liner. it came out lookin good. but never even got to go down the road with it.

Ok it makes sense now with your description, no headlights, I wasn't thinking before it was just going to be a track truck only.

Any idea on the weight you saved by going to ladder bars?
