Here's What I'm Thinkin
« on: April 24, 2011, 09:43:09 pm »
Since I have the Wilwood D52's, the stock wheels rub on the caliper.  What do y'all think of these......

Gonna run 17x9.5's all the way around with 275/50-17's.
As always, need any input and opinions.  My truck is not lowered, but will sit a little lower once the 427 goes in.  Gonna remove the overload spring in the back also.
Thanks in advance,
Fidd

Those are the same wheels as on my stepside. They're nice just don't ever try to clean them with any harsh chemicals.

Their shiny, looks easy enough to keep them clean.

With the size of the wheel being 17x9.5, the backspacing is 5.5 in.  Am I gonna have any fitment or rubbing issues?

Thanks Vile.  Are yours 17x9.5's?  You think I will have any firment issues with 5.5 backspace?

That's one of those wheels, You really can't go wrong with that style on just about any vehicle IMO.  It's a classic.

The wheels look great. The truck will look even better if you lower it just a little. Very nice project.

I really like those wheels!  What is the Model name of those... my quick look at American Racing Wheels didn't result in a match... I like to get those on my ' 86 stepside shortbox.

nice choice- Truck looks great!

PastorKen,
They are American Racing Torq Thrust II's.  515 series.  They are a one piece wheel.  Should look great on yours as well.
