M daughter is 12 and has been working on me for a year or so to get her a stepside truck like mine to fix up.  Come to find out yesterday she revealed her plans, She wants MY truck and wants me to have the stepside.   I laughed so hard!   :D  She's the one in the video driving my truck around the yard when she was 11.   :)

Funny thing kids, they always think the things you have are better than anybody's else's.

My daughter is 8 and is more proud of my truck than I am.
People think it's weird when she says her favourite color is gray.

I have 5 kids myself but only one that is really passionate about trucks. I wasn't ready to give mine up so about 5 years ago we bought him an 83 k10 swb. Spent 4 years building it. I couldn't imagine not being able to spend the time with him that we have had. Now he is so picky with his truck he won't even drive it to school afraid someone will do something to it. Actually he recently posted up some pictures on here.

I think my new favorite color scheme is gray and camo. Haha. Thats a gorgeous truck and it looks just as beast as the tank. Thats cool your daughter has connected to it. It would suck to have an awesome truck but feel guilty keeping it if your family doesnt like it.

Those are sharp trucks!

YEah she's gonna do like I did.  I had a choice between a 77 C10 and a 69 Mustang.  Both in about the same condition.   I took the truck!  But got the mustang too for a little whole a few years later.   :D

Something about these old trucks tho thats for sure!

My 6 year old son wants my Chevelle so bad, and both my 2 year old daughter and son always want to ride in daddy's big truck!  It has only recently been that my son doesn't refer to the chevelle as 'his chevelle'!

I love it!!!  My dad wasn't really in to classic vehicles when I was a kid, so I am stoked to work on a vehicle with my son when he gets a little older, and my daughter too.  Right now he just likes riding around in them, especially the Chevelle when I light 'em up!  Then he tells Mommy all about it! :) LOL
