« on: May 15, 2011, 07:53:34 pm »
Does anyone have a factory lockup turbo 350 setup? I need a pic of the switch and plugin for the solenoid that I think is on the inner fender? Any help on this is appreciated. Thanks, Randy

Elaborate - What year is the truck? Is this a factory set up? Was it functioning and hooked up ever?

Yes it was all hooked up, working fine at one time. Then I changed the intake and carb, and believe it or not I forgot all about it. I disconnected the cruise, and all the unnecessary vacuum lines. The other day I was under it and saw the wires from the trans and realized what I'd done. Now how can I hook it back up? I think theres a vacuum switch on the firewall still hooked to the wires. What can I do?

Hook it back up. Plug the connector in hook a vacuum suuply to the low vacuum switch.

Will any vacuum supply work? There was a small check valve thing or something in the vacuum line, I still have it. There is one wire I'm not sure about, it is a single green wire with an orange connector. Any idea where it goes?

Ok the green wire was the supply to the trans. It's all hooked back up and working. I only drove it  awhile when it was hooked up originally so I forgot how it drove, when the converter locks up the RPM's fall a couple of hundred at least. Maybe now my gas mileage will go back up.
