razor back question?

So I was talking to a buddy of mine and he said he can get me a razor back for an 88+ Chevy pickup for free. I'm currently restoring a 76 gmc 4x4. My question is will it fit? Or won't it? The only reason I ask is because it would be a freebe and would save me a couple hundred bucks? Anyone know if it will even be close? Thanks.

Prolly Not, the bed sides on the 88+ were narrower and the trucks are wider.

If I am wrong someone will pop up and call me on it. :D

It depends on if it's from a 1 ton '88 truck or not...that would fit, an '88 1/2-3/4 ton will not. Lorne

Now my real question is... Why? I have never liked those things, they are right up there with half camper shells and visors to me.

I had a guy work for me years ago that had a '76 truck with the roof spoiler & a Razorback. WOW!

My old neighbor had a 77 3/4 ton with a razor back and a visor and he used to say to me "our trucks are twins but mine has better accessories" lol

Vile, is that 3rd picture a blazer? It looks like the razor back is molded into the rear of the cab  so i was wondering if its a full convertable with a razor back shell?
