Need a 5.7L diesel wiring diagram

The pickup I bought was a 79 c-10 and the guy who sold it had dropped a 250 6 in there. This was before I knew anything about vehicles. Now I for sure know that I don't think I'm ever buying from that guy again. He rigged the diesel harness to work for the gas engine and I want to chop out all the useless wires with out accidentally knocking out my headlights or something along those lines. But I cant find the wiring diagram anywhere. any help appreciated thanks.

Diesel wiring inst there.  Good luck finding it for any diesel.

I've got the factory diesel diagrams. I'll be glad to scan and add to the tech section if someone can help me figure out why my scanner keeps saying "usb not connected".

Well nothing like hitting the power switch and then having Windows run CHKDSK to get things going again. Anyhow, I can't seem to start a new topic in the tech section so if one of the mods wants to move these, here they are:







If there's a better way to do this let me know they don't seem to be very big in this fashion.

No that I know of VILE.  I am trying to find 6.2L wiring schematics.
IF you email me the images in full size I can upload them.  Just put Diesel X.XL diagrams in the topic.

Bump, because I am working on my 6.2L right now.  If anyone can send me the Diesel wiring diagrams in and email to webmaster at 73-87chevytrucks.com with X.XL Diesel Wiring in the subject I will be sure to add this information to the Wiring diagram section in the Tech forum.

 This is from dieselplace.com site but apparently there is a difference i think this one is pre 84 if that helps you out any

I have one like that, but it is a Military Diesel (which I have the engine wiring off of) but I really would like to see the Civilian version, which I don't have.  That was I can compare the plugs of the Military (mines and 87) to the 85 Gasser to a 81-87 Diesel.
