hood rats

installed a 81 front end on my 76 short bed. Now i'm having trouble getting the hinges to work out. The hood is off the 81.
The cab is  a 76.  I thought the 81 hinges would bolt right up to the 76, apparently not. What do i need???

Your 81 hinges bolt to the fender, you need to put notches in the 76 cab so the 81 hinges fold n sit in the pockets notched into the 76 cab.
