That's only SOME of mine. lol I will admit, other than a select few as of lately they have a lot of dust growing on them. Keep jamming though, it's fun and babes love it. Music is mood inspiring and a necessity in life.

Nice axes.  I've see a 4-string and a 6-string bass but is that a 5-string bass in the first and second photos?

I played a 5 string ibanez before I turned my hand into a maraca when I was in high-school, lost all my hand speed. At the time if I couldn't play Metallica, I didn't want to play, now though I think its time to start again, jazz is cool too

I have 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 string basses. The funny thing is when you play the 7 string and then pick up a 4 string it's like swinging a weighted bat and then swinging a wiffle ball bat.

Here is a picture of my "wall of shame".  Please excuse the picture quality as my camera was dead, this is from my cell phone.  I have probably a half dozen more put away - kind of special ones!  The back and white bass near the right is an 8 string, but it's an octave 8, like a 12 string guitar would be to a 6 string.  Playing keeps you young, eh Ville!!

reading this when it was first posted got me thinking about the wife's family 4 string. when we lived in dove in a apartment on the 3rd floor we used to get it and a acoustic out and play dueling banjo's. this was in the middle of the city i would of loved to see someone’s face when the heard it. when we played we would just sit on the porch out of sight so the couldnt tell where it was coming from
