Author Topic: Thottle cable mod easy & quick (Read 6254 times)

When I was installing my new cd player I noticed how much slack was on my gas pedal.
I took a tiewrap put on the end of the cable, cut the excess.
Now it grabs the tiewrap and pulls the cable earlier.
No extra HP or anything, just a couple millisec in response.
I did this to an old Ranger I had, got the idea from a forum.

So your throttle cable is secured by a zip tie now instead of a ferrule?

wow thirsty...i almost didnt buy my truck because there were 3 small rust bubbles in the rocker area...
