Lost my very best friend today...
« on: August 26, 2011, 08:09:37 pm »
Please keep the family of my dearest friend Bob Hennin in your thoughts and prayers.  I was at his bed side when he passed away this afternoon today.  He was only 65 and lost his battle with Cancer.  He was my 2nd Dad, I adopted him back in 1998 when I met him.  He was the ultimate car guy dad type and will truly be missed.  I spent a week with him during the 2006 Power Tour and followed up vacationing with his wife, my wife and kids down in Branson.  His kids were all at his bedside.  Thanks in advance, Carl

Cancer is such a beast. It takes way too many from us. I know that your friend is in a better place and no longer has to suffer. Now is a time of rejoice and healing for his friends and family. He is not gone. Y'all will see him again in a much better place and time.
May God bless all.

P.S.
If I offended anyone by mentioning God, please remember....the borders are obviously open both ways and you are welcome to leave!

Thanks for all the kind words.  Heading out for the wake this afternoon til 8.  The funeral is in the morning.  I was honored to be asked to be a pall-bearer.  Brought his 71 Chrysler home Sunday to clean it out and pretty it up, have a couple of interested parties for it.  Sure wish I had the garage space for her, a lot of great memories with that car... and it drives/rides so nice.
