Hello, I've been a member of this board for some time but never really posted on it till I received delivery of my 1980 SWB C10 that used to belong to my father when we was alive about 6 years ago, it's been sitting outside of my grandmothers place for that long and unfortunately the windows were cracked open so there's rust on the floor, Hopefully i'll be able to learn a lot from you guys here since i'm new to trucks, chevys, and inline 6's. lol

Welcome from Mesa, AZ. Sorry about your father, but at least you have an awesome truck to remember him by. Where in az are you? Do you have any pictures of the truck?

Welcome and good luck with the rebuild.
Take your time and enjoy doing something your father would be proud of that you did.
You'll never regret repairing it for another generation.

Welcome from California. Also sorry about your dad, but the inline 6's are great on gas and can be powered up with aftermarket items fairly easy.
