thermo vacuum valve

I was noticing on my thermo vacuum valve on top of the thermostat housing that when i start the engine up and look at the top vacuum hose coming off the valve that it collapses closed because it is deteriorated. My question is does anybody know if you can buy new vacuum connectors for the valve. Its a four port valve.

Just get a new valve and replace the vacuum hoses while you're at it.

The vacuum hoses, is it a special vacuum plug that you gotta buy or is it two different sized vacuum hoses you can make at home?

I had to replace the same 4 ported switch in my K10 a few weeks ago.   I don't think those connectors are made anymore.   If you want a actual replacement, you could try your local junkyard and/or Ebay.  If its too rare to find you could just buy a few feet of vacuum hose and connect to each port individually...   If you do happen to find a place that sells it, please post...

i bought a new Thermal Vacuum Switch 7 yrs ago when i put my 383 stroker in my '79 big 10.  The first pic is the original, the second pic is the new one.  I think i paid $30 back then.  Luckily, my hoses were fine, but, as mentioned, you should be able to run individual vacuum lines
