Suburban seat, question

Is the 2nd or 3rd row bench seat on a suburban the same as the front seat on a C/K truck?

i used the back seat out of my dads old 79 c3500 in my 80 c10 and it worked, but where u mount the seat, the mounts are higher so it wound up sitting about 3 inchs higher than the stock seat. but it still works.

No, second and third row are different.

The far back seat isn't as wide.  The middle seat is a 80/20 and hinged, the back and seat bottom are not even attached.

my 3rd row in my 91 sub 2500V is completely different than a cab bench.  There aren't mounted to sliding brackets...they just hook in place and a lever in the back makes it so you can remove the rear seat.  Wouldn't work at all for a cab bench. And, as stated, they are not as wide and the floor is higher, so, by putting a 3rd row seat up front, it will sit way low.

The second row on a Suburban is specific to that bodystyle.  The front seat of a suburban is the same as the front of a crew cab, and the same as a non tilting style of a pickup.  The third row is the same as a Blazer.

My Suburban never had the third row seat, is it a problem to add it, if I just find it from another Suburban or Blazer? Especially thinking about the belts.

Adding a factory 3rd row may be a bit of work.  The floor structure that the seat latches into is spot welded into the floor.  I suppose you could modify it to clamp in but safety and ease of removal would be two points to consider.

You have to cut out and weld in the floor support/catches to put the third row in.
