78 textured dash bezel

does anybody know anything about this textured dash bezel?  it looks factory, ive never seen one like this, one guy said its rare and was 78-78 only. is this thing worth anything?

     My guess is it is not factory, maybe a dealer add.  Do you have the SPID sticker in the glove box still ?  This will tell you the options that the truck came with.

i do not have the correct sticker in the glove box, my truck is a total frankenstein, built out of many trucks so it seems

78-80 factory bezel with AC is what you have there.

Vile is correct, my '80 K20 had the same dash bezel. In your pictures it looks white but its a brushed aluminum color.

Look at the close up pic he posted. I don't think that is the brushed aluminum bezel.

     I trust what they say is right, but it did not look like brushed aluminum to me either.  I was waiting for the owner who posted to reply whether it was brushed aluminum or not.

He said it's a brushed aluminum color. No one is saying it's the brushed aluminum panel.

looks kind of like some one masked it off and painted a black plain jain one with aluminum paint. i did some thing similar to my 80 c10 with a small paint brush.

Never seen that style. Just the all black version and actual brushed version. The black version I always see has the same grain pattern as the door panels.

Somebody painted a plain bezel to look like the ones with the brushed aluminum.  All the 78-80 bezels look like that, just they are plain black or have the brushed aluminum thing stuck on over it. 

I like the look though.
