Hello Hello. I just bought what I hope is my first of many Chevy trucks. It is a '85 Silverado C-10 long bed with about 125k miles. Its got a 305 with a thm350. I bought it from the original owner who thought the $995 that I paid him for it was still worth as much as it was in '85.
Besides the grill, I am yet to find anything in this truck that is not original. I'd love to do some upgrades and fix a few things in the interior except I don't know a thing about trucks or cars. I never took mechanics in high school, and that type of class wasn't offered in college.
I attached a couple pictures, will someone yell at me if they are too big please.

That looks like a nice truck for $1k. Do you have pics of the interior and engine? You will find lots of friendly people and very good information on this board. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
