« on: October 09, 2012, 10:12:38 pm »
Would it hurt/dent any of the top of the cab if i lifted up with straps through both door openings?
could the top handle the weight ?

thanks for your help?

Straps can dent the edges of the roof, plus the pinch weld can damage straps. I use a 4"x6" with a long eye bolts through each end. Use a couple pairs of Vise Grips on each side to keep the beam as far forward as possible in the door hole, so that the weight is a little better distributed.
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs
