« on: March 25, 2006, 06:57:00 pm »
i need to know what backspacing i will need on my 86 2wd silverado to get a 9" wheel perfectly flush with the fender but just enough inside where it will miss the lip of my front fender.  i know if i get the same backspacing for the back i'll have to use a little spacer so i'm looking for the front backsapcing

well, if you have a 8" rim with a 4 1/2" back spacing(stock)....just add an axtra inch to the back spacing. Are you lowered and or are you using bigger than 15" rims?

it will have a 2/4 drop on it and i'm using 18" wheels with 295/45/18 tires which are 28.5 inches tall.  it's not a big deal if i can't find the measurement cuz all i gotta do is pull the wheel.  i was just tryin to take the easy way out.
