a/c & heater problem
« on: January 15, 2013, 08:06:39 pm »
the fan switch and temperature adjuster work on the temperature assembly, but when i switch it to any setting whether a/c, vent or defroster, its always blowing air on the ground. Is it the temperature assembly that could be broken? how can i fix this?

First off we need some details.  Year and make of truck?  My guess from what you wrote would be the cables that move the door between defrost, vent, or floor.  Or the door itself is stuck/broken.

I am scanning them in.  Part of my Christmas present, was a couple cd's with manuals and overhaul manuals on them for our early trucks.

That will be nice when you get them.  If you need 74 - 76, that is the ones I currently are messing around with.

This is already the best site for our particular taste of trucks but I think that will drastically put it over the top...love it Cap.
