Blazer fuel tank

I am interested in doing a blazer fuel tank swap into my 86 while its down getting some other stuff done. ive read how to do it, not hard but no thread ive read states what years the tank comes ouf of. Sorry if this has been asked. I've searched just not found what years the tanks come out of.

I used a tank out of a '75. It was a 20 gallon.

1973-86 if you don't need a fuel pump, 87-91 if you do.

I'm pretty sure up to 31 gal will fit.  I think somewhere on Chris's site the dimensions are posted.

Get the fuel injected tank...only way to guarantee you won't have fuel starvation problems when your tank is under a quarter full.. You may still be able to use an exterior pump also.

Either tank from a a Blazer 25-31g will fit in the rear of the frame.  There are pics of my current truck with it, along with my write-up here http://www.captkaoscustoms.com/blazertank.html

I wouldn't run and external pump, there is a reason factory uses them in the tank...

Ask me how I know.  Save yourself a ton of headache and use the factory style pump/sender assembly.
