Yea i've been pluggin away,
Here's a few pics of the transfer case clocking plate installed. Worked perfectly except i had to notch out the crossmember, no biggie, long as the cv joint isn't binding.

The brake set up. Front and rear manual line locks instead of using the old e-brake system. And using Dot 5 brake fluid so it won't eat the paint. Supposed to work better than dot 3 but can't be used with abs.

Installed the condenser but have to get some custom a/c lines made since vintage air's lines won't work with my custom set up..

Just got in the lower door panels that match the floor carpet. 89 bucks for all 4 from a company on ebay.

Here's a closer look at the mirror mounts. I built them to be solid so the mirrors don't wiggle while driving and blur the vision. Drives me nuts when i can't see out of a mirror..

And here's a pic of the speakers which will be mounted in every door

Some pics of the offbrand Dynamat. Installed 70 lbs worth in just the firewall and floor. I did 2 layers on the firewall to make sure no noise makes it through!

And the doors will get covered once they are finished.
I also filled the roof of the cab with liquid foam to block out more noise.

That's the Sulastic shackles. It's a secondary rubber suspension so it'll ride like an old cady

So I now know that i for sure cannot tig weld. I'm not a bad self taught mig welder but tig welding is a whole nother story...

I decided to weld the stainless thru hauls on instead because the 0 rings kept leaking and i wanted to never worry about dropping the tanks again.

Tank on the left is a massacred stainless tig weld. Said screw this and went and bought a roll of stainless wire for the mig. Mig weld on the right.
Wish i would've done it to begin with...but thought, how hard can it be?...

I then coated the welds with liquid metal compound then sprayed over it with Leak Seal.
Here's a few pics with the 1 1/2" transfer hose installed.

lol

I had to make sure this sticker didn't get painted over!

New load of painted parts woo hoo

I love the smoked tail lights! I thought i'd have to buy new ones cuz how scratched n faded they were but some smoke and clear coat did wonders. And in the light they look pretty bright yet, Plus i'll have 4 other led tail lights if they are too dark.

Same thing with the clearance lights

Installed a new 6x9 and spacer

My painter used a smoke paint then multiple coats of clear coat.
Took a little break from the truck to work on some remodeling in the house.
Gonna try and set the body back on tomorrow
