250/3sp to 350/TH350 swap
« on: August 29, 2013, 07:19:42 pm »
I have an 80 SWB with a I6 and 3 on the tree. I have an 350 with a TH350 long tail shaft (12"). Was wondering what do I need to complete the swap as  far as the drive train is concerned. Thanks!

I am not sure on the engine mounts but you will have to shorten your drive shaft.  PM me if you want to sell the 3 speed linkages from the column to the transmission and I need the shifter itself.

You will need V8 motor mounts and ideally a radiator and fan shroud to match.  A 12" tail is VERY long...
