Why crown vic front susp ? Just curious if you had a reason other than you have a 2010 crown vic laying around.
especially what you do with your crown vic front.
Second, I would STRONGLY suggest you do a body drop Incorporated in your frame build. I did a 2" angled (0" in the front-2"in the rear) to take out the "mistake" that is in most trucks as they are designed...It was one of the best modifications I've done to our truck & by design (bolted together bed, heavy rib under the cab outside the frame, ect.) it a pretty easy thing to do.You would benefit from doing a straight 2" drop since your going to need all the help you can get at the trans. to firewall clearance...2" may not seem like worth the bother, but as you move forward many things will start to seem to be "right" if you just had more room here & there. You can go more on the body drop, but I noticed things both to the bed & cab that told me 2" was the "ideal" spot to not make way more work (fixing odd looking off-sets, gaps around the bed floor, stock carpeting, seat, pedals, ect.), some of which may or may not be of concern to you.
