     Are you planning on mounting this by the tailgate or up by the cab ?  The pics look like it is by the tailgate which would be in the way of loading anything into the bed.

 It up next to the cab. I looked at putting the second tank under the bed but it would be in the way of trying to reinstall my exhaust.

      In that case how about stacking them vertically, on top of each other against the cab, will that work ?

I considered putting the second tank in that place but I want to try and run my exhaust out the back again instead of turn downs like the directions suggest. Do you think this is possible.

I am new to air ride systems so I went with 2 compressors so I don't over work 1 and 2 tanks so I have enough air to go from completely empty bags to completely full bags without having to wait on compressors.

     swilliams.  when it is all said and done, I wonder if you could compile a list with part #'s of everything it took to completely  finish this project.  I am seriously thinking about doing my first 2wd truck next this way.

i will do that. I wish I had tracked all the incidentals like drill bits hardware etc because I thought I had a good supply of things but found that some things needed to be updated and or replaced.

In looking at the last couple pictures you posted, I had a thought in my head. Are the tanks narrow enough to be slid in the framerails hanging off of a bracket across the top of the frame from your shocks back to the crossmember? If so, that could solve several concerns in one...room for full exhaust, keep them up out of the way & not take up space in the bed. Maybe? Can't tell from the photo if they are too wide or not? Just a thought, Lorne

The air pod will have to go in the bed because of all the components.


This is the only place I can fit it in the frame rails and makes it impossible to run my exhaust.
Does anyone know if it is possible to run the exhaust out the back with this set up?

Yes, just like that. On the other tank with all of the valves, solenoids, pump, ect. Are you concerned with that being damaged by road slop or just the size of it makes you "have to go in the bed" with it?
I would get rid of the spare tire crossmember & move the rear crossmember to the back of the frame if that gave you the distance you need to mount them both there. Keep the clutter out of the bed is my thinking...I believe you will have room for a full exhaust doing it that way also. Just my Thoughts, Lorne

I would prefer to have the air pod in the bed but as for the cross member being moved back and the spare tire one removed I will definitely look in to that. Thanks for the tips.

So I did some mock up today and I think that there is a way to run the exhaust out the back. I do have questions if anyone can answer for me. As far as the shocks brake lines and air tank can they be as close as 2 to 3 inches to the exhaust???

You can run the exhaust within a few inches of those pieces shouldn't be a problem.
With that 4 link setup, you are going to have to be creative to get them out the back though.

YOU DO NOT want to get the exhaust anywhere near those bags or the air lines.
