Chevy Engine Swap
« on: March 26, 2014, 06:24:22 pm »
I have a 1975 Chevy Scottsdale 20 with a 454 Big Block in it currently. I am looking to swap out the engine. I was wondering which engines could be easily swapped for the 454, and which ones get the best gas mileage? I am also wondering if anyone has put a newer stereo in one.
Any help at all is appreciated.
 Thank you.

Why do you want to get rid of the big block?

Ha, believe me, I don't want to get rid of the big block. I'm a kid in high school who needs to have something with a little better gas mileage. I have a 350 now that I might drop in. What are some ways to increase fuel mileage?
