Just a guess, but it sounds like your lifters are collapsing and it's taking a few minutes for the oil pressure to build them back up to full height.
I would look into carb/choke adjustment. For starters make sure your electric choke is opening correctly. Check the float level. Make sure your accelerator pump is not leaking by.

Engine runs perfectly fine once warmed up.I have torn into engines. I'm just used to FI. I typically always do my own work on my vehicles. Like you guys said there can more damage done if someone doesnt know what they are doing which is why I'm asking questions. I appreciate all the help.
