I'm leaning towards the Merlin iron rectangle port heads ,,,,,, any input or past use or knowledge about these heads specifically would be appreciated

Sprinkler-man that's awesome I will get that code for you here in the next week I'd say ..... I'd be happy to get that for sure..... My phone is turned off and I can't call anyone or else I'd give the mechanics a call and ask what the number I.D is ..... No worries I'm reprinting the bed of the truck to match I'll be sure to post that info for you!

RHS pro action iron rectangle port 320cc is really preferred ,,,, that or the world products Merlin heads, but I'm honestly leaning on the RHS pro heads ,,,, we will see what  ends up on the 454!

Meanwhile inside the cab there is a good amount of rip and bounce in the seat so I like the bounce a little but it's a little too much so I want to do something about that,,, steering wheel is pretty sweet I really like the wheel,,, the inside of the cab was really dirty and I cleaned it up a lot .... Still a lot of work to do,, the door pads on the inside are white but old looking not too horrible though now the blue handles.... Yeah those gotta go,,,, brown or black to be added,,, may try to color match it to the paint, someone must carry that color door handle pad ,.., not sure the exact name for the pad... The np205 transfer case just needs some fluid in it.. The interior cab dome light is there but no bulb and not sure if it works,,, we will check and or repair that,,, the dash pad is old and really dry rotted and I'd truly like to get a new dash pad in the coming months.... There will be no smoking in the truck even though I'm a smoker so I will be hiding the cigarette lighter somewhere behind the seats... Inside cab will have safety features to prevent engine being started with a key or screwdriver,,,, rear view mirror rattled with the 305 I can't imagine it staying on with 454, so I'll have to put a shock absorbing epoxy on the backside of the mirror mount on the window side to help prevent that so I can see in my rear view mirror,,,both windows are hard for me to roll up , I'm sure you guys physically able are alright but jeez these things are near impossible for me to roll up past the hallway point ,,, i don't roll them don't because I really tweets and hurts my already hurting back when I try it roll either one up,,, so I'm replacing the mechanism and hitting the moving parts with grease or wd-40 to keep a smooth easy action on the handle where our 7 year son can roll them up when he rides in the truck.. Or anyone else for that matter, the goal is because I'm disabled and much weaker than I used to be I have got to have a window that a young boy could roll up without too much effort at all,,,, and that will be a little finessing but I think it's very doable and not far out idea at all..... The passengers side of the seat when Travis our only son rides in it ( he's 7 ) and a good boy ,,, his head hits the back of the window and side of the truck cab ... And I have got to get this fixed , Colorado roads can be good and really bad. There's a lot of that here in colorado. The body mounts on the cab need replacing . They are dry rotted and cracked through..... The blanket in there I would like to return to the original owner and put a confederate flag blanket over the bottom part of the seat where the blanket covers now... New clutch linkage from the cab inside to the bell housing of the tranny needs rebuilt through and through... I won't buy new pedals but I will get new rubber for the pedals and paint the pedals.... I don't need my foot slipping on the clutch pedal or the brake or even the gas pedal for that matter so "naturally" sticky rubber compound material pedal pads will be added. Sorry I'm not a pro on lingo... The old mats will be tossed for new floor mats that are simple and have the chevy logo in orange and that says chevy above or below it... I cleaned inside the cab as best I could really with what I had to work with... And I think it looks really different and clean inside.... I was kinda shocked how well the inside cleaned up after lots of love to it.. I cleaned inside the door jams and inside the hinges and I will get some real cheap odd shaped tools so I can clean further inside the doors... The glass is pretty good around the truck it doesn't need replacing thank The Lord it doesn't need replacing. Glass is expensive , and one new piece would make the rest look off.... Since we are taking about the cab , I will mention the hood, it doesn't seat perfectly flush .. In a few of the pictures I have posted you can tell the hood was all the way shut and it didn't quite seat flush and it others you see extra space by a margin in the hood. It's just when it's all the way shut it sticks out 3/8" in the back and I would like to get it seated flush so I'll be working on that as well, hood needs buffed and waxed until the 4th of July pretty much lol but I think I'll be able to get it to look like the front half. The right side is more polished than the left side of the cab so I have quite a bit of work ahead to get it all one even looking coat of burnt orange paint.... But it'll come soon.... The radio is non existing in this truck , and if there are any members who know where I can get a FACTORY radio without paying too much please let me know,,, I'm not putting a killer sound system in this truck it doesn't need it that would be dumb I think,,, I just want factory speakers and radio that's it, just some tunes for when the engine is off because I honestly don't think I will be able to hear it over the motor lol....
