Here are the hooker Comp headers :-) they are oval port so we may need to send them back once the new heads arrive and return and swap it out for the new rectangle port heads we will see when the heads arrive , I'm having a feeling we might have to but still these are 1 7/8" inside hole diameter if I'm correct ,,,, should produce some good power and torque with these headers and from these headers ,,,,

3.5" on the flange I believe and 1 7/8" on the exhaust ports for the hooker headers

It is 1.75" on the main tube diameter and 3" on the collector not 3.5" like I had guessed earlier sorry about that

     Nice progress.
#1: The easiest and most obvious solution to any problem is 99% of the time correct.
#2: There is no such thing as impossible, it just takes longer.

Here is the list for the engine that I need still to put it all back together built chevy reliable and tough :-) and these parts should arrive all by the end of May or earlier ,,, I will update you as they come in, the heads will be here last unfortunately as they say May 30 for the ship date .... This parts list doesn't include spark plugs and wires and the new carb, air filter, oil for the truck, coolant, gear lubricant, power steering , brake fluid, tranny fluid and t-case fluid, heater core, stock radio, new wires, possible new speakers ( not a built sound system just a factory respectable near stock speaker and radio system , radiator , leaf springs, brakes and shocks that I still need along with the steering gear box rebuilt, and bushings all the way around replaced , still need new steering stabilizer shock as well...foot pedals (rubber pads), a few things from MSD ignition products, new valve covers ,, or sand and paint the old ones,,, which I think I will do .... Just strip the old paint , scuff and sand them a bit and primer and paint it chevy orange again ....

Just so everyone knows I had 345cc on the intake runner volume and switched to 320cc to keep the speed of the air up and the turbulence still there

The bearings on the engine are being filed to match the new parts perfectly, mains, cam , rod bearings will be the test subjects haha !  they will be filed and smoothed and fitted like a ball and glove kind of fit and as smooth as a baby's butt lol
