Oh and Don5 as per the comment on being loud..... Yeahhh about that.... Well.... I haven't heard it so I can't comment or speculate.         Lol jk.......... It should be rattling the manhood while sitting in it. Good times :-) haha  and loud enough i won't be able to use a radio. Period. Lol .... But that is okay ... The engine can be the "radio" haha               I thought to myself, open header would blow my eardrums out driving it down the road, this might actually have a similar effect in hearing loss lol .... How cool would it look wearing ear plugs driving your own truck...... Ehhhh not so much ... Hehe.  Soo depending on its effect on my ears driving it. I will have to eventually do something.... But .... We will see... I will post a video of it running next time we light the candle.  Maybe the flames will reach out of the exhaust pipes and not just the headers loool that would be a trip....  :-) anyways I'm rambling guys......

I did some research .... The slip yoke is mounted right where it needs to be and driveshaft is installed correctly ....

All I am going to say about this subject is this. The factory did not put the slip yoke down in the rear driveshaft. In the front driveshaft, but not the rear. That rear U joint is located at a spot in your driveline that moves the most. That must be why they mounted the large tube there instead of the small yoke.

It is your truck and you can put it however you want. But I bet after a month of driving, especially with your horsepower, you will be able to wiggle that yoke a little. That won't happen with the yoke up at the transfer.

Now I don't know if I opened a can worms with my question but those were my thoughts on the subject.

As far as the shop recommendation- well they are a business so call or stop by and ask them their reasoning. I would be interested to hear their thoughts.
