82 k1500 6.2L diesel, swap to LS 5.3, help?

hey just picked up this truck wanting to swap out the old 6.2L Diesel, I'm a licensed mechanic here in Alberta, basically just need to know what I'm going to need to do get this done, need to grab an engine yet, would like to use a 4l80E behind it and use the transfer case that's in the truck, what kind of mounts am i going to need, adapters for trans to transfer case, i realize there are wiring harness kits out there to make these swaps nice and easy electrical wise, want to keep the fuel injection on it, any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated! well i ended up picking up a 93 1500 for 300$ that got traded in to the dealership that ran and drove well but the body and all was toast, put the 5.7 in my k10, cleaned it all up, painted and re-sealed it of course, put the TBI AND PCM all in and made everything work, drive it home the first time, killed 3rd gear, drove back to town in manual 2nd, tore down the 4l60e from the donor truck and i just did a stock re-build to it, took the output shaft out of the 700r4 and put it in the 4l60e to make er 4x4 put it in, bought a reluctor kit for a VSS, and its actually working out very well, its no 5.3 unfortunately but it was cheap and i made money on the donor truck.
