well i ended up picking up a 93 1500 for 300$ that got traded in to the dealership that ran and drove well but the body and all was toast, put the 5.7 in my k10, cleaned it all up, painted and re-sealed it of course, put the TBI AND PCM all in and made everything work, drive it home the first time, killed 3rd gear, drove back to town in manual 2nd, tore down the 4l60e from the donor truck and i just did a stock re-build to it, took the output shaft out of the 700r4 and put it in the 4l60e to make er 4x4 put it in, bought a reluctor kit for a VSS, and its actually working out very well, its no 5.3 unfortunately but it was cheap and i made money on the donor truck.
