From your comments. You like to drive fast.   Sounds like you need a car to use on a track

Road race. Gymkhana   Etc

Go as fast as you can.  Don't have to worry bout the cops

Maybe I can help, I own an 83 K10, an 00 Camaro, and a motorcycle.  In my opinion, find a way to keep the truck and get the Camaro.  If you have to go for a slightly higher mileage one, understand that these cars are not like the newer stuff that falls apart at 100k miles.  Mine is the v6 but still very similar, I bought mine at 60k and it now has 106k on it.  The only things beyond standard maintenance brakes and tires that's needed done is a fuel pump and Fuel Pressure Regulator.

Sunset Orange Metallic is a beautiful color, but not the same as it looks like in those videos, so I hope you've seen it in person.  I love my Camaro, but it doesn't fit all my life.  It's a fun car, I thoroughly enjoy driving it.  It may have 4 seats, but it's not comfortable for more than 2 people.  A fishing pole or a rifle, don't count on it.  Now, I've hauled some ridiculous stuff in my camaro (small tree, garden tools, full length mirror, 40" TV) but it's not made for it.

Someday, I'll either own a 68-69 Camaro, or an 00-02 Camaro w/ LS1 & T56.  Or maybe I'll just put and LS1 & T56 in the body I've got now.  Point is, I wouldn't worry about something with even 50-60k miles, just look the suspension over real good.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Biggest thing you want to avoid is getting one from a seller who has run it hard and driven it fast

The fastest car for the least money is a V-8 Fiero

My brother has a 88 GT with a 4.9 Cadillac engine in it and it is way faster than his corvette

Handles better too
He sold the vette and kept the fiero

The 88 fiero was a totally redesigned new generation car that looks like the 84-87 but shares hardly any parts

I did see sunset orange and black in test drives i did...  when they were new, i had to wear my nice pants n leather jacket, i test drove a LOT of six speeds, never tested an auto, i wouldnt bother...

So I want black or SSO  or Red is always good.

'm kinda onto now...  Id forgotten these...  a Mercury Marauder...  Those and Impalas ss's, the last rwd one anyway, both look good but i like the ford styling way way better.

So Im hunting a black marauder.  or a sunset orange camaro.  camaro must be manual.  marauder can be auto, but if it is ill swap a manual into it later...

Forget everything I said before this today...

I'm getting a jaguar XJ8 or XJR oe Vanden Plas...

One nearby is gray and matches my truck....

Whatever you say, I'm impressed by this automobile...

I need it in my life...

60k, gray inside n out, a few blemishes, that i can fix in 2 hours or less and you'd never know they existed...

Wow this car made me fall in love instantly...  and its the only car doesnt make my left knee sing in agony.  even my truck can't claim that one.

I will have a jaguar XJ, 2004-2009  or i wont buy anything.

Wow...  I drove a 300hp version, then the 400hp version...

either car is impressive, and wow

I went and test drove two of em, ummm.  impala n van are gone ASAP.  i always loved jags...  these are the last of the real jags to me...  people call them dated and old skool...  wel so are 57 chevies..  if i can have an old car looking ride with 2008 tech...  win win

old jags are classy and comfy and lite n quick...  so if i get the car ill have a full size car, with a 300hp v8 weighs 3700 lbs gets 28-30mpg on hwy...  why the heck wouldnt i go for this?  I don't know so im going for it...

I want the jag ive always wanted since i was small.  didnt help neighbor had a V12 XJS when i was small...  he was the same guy built the '57 454 vette when i was like 8...hahahaha

The only problem with an older Jag today is the same problem they had when they were building the xj v12s in the late 80s... they love the garage, and I don't mean for storage. A partner where I work had one. He loved it, and it was FAST. Only problem is, it was in the garage every other month for some ridiculously overpriced part or another, and eventually he got sick of it and got a new Caddy SUV... I think his was around 70-80k miles when he gave up on it.

I'm not gonna say don't do it, but, look at parts prices and walk into it with open eyes

I can deal with most of what Comes along...  Ive been on a jag x350 site for a year or two to find the problems, seems the air shocks are the worst $$$ cost.  and id be fixing it myself, and have my truck to drive while i do that.  taking it to the shop is a long wait, in the best of times, I can get the parts i need quick as usual, so im not scared.

Would love to have a jag to match my truck.

looked just like this

I also watched this and yeah thus us me.  ha.  awwfully sorry!   I'm already there!
