well pulled the 4l80e out of the 2000 k3500 dump truck that i had. but it was late wasnt planing on a rebuild yet just wanted to see what was left in the trans had only 87k but by the looks of the fluid it was a hard 87k. the 6.5 that it was behind blew up and was a plow/dump truck.
but as i was saying it was late didnt feel like taking our time. took the plasma cutter out and cut the cables and rods pulled the cab off thought my buddy removed everything else and he thought i did. well as we pulled off the cab i saw the wires and said something to him he said they're just wires they will break (think he thought they were only the fuel tank/light wires for the truck well they were also the trans controller lines. usually we pull th350s/400s or 465s so not so many wires. well it ended up breaking the female connections on the trans to the point one was leaking trans fluid. couldn't be pissed at him cause i missed it also but now i think im going to rebuild it but rebuild kits dont have these connections where can i get them and whats their technical name?

forgot to ask about where to get a rebuild kit from. this is going behind the cummins and crew cab shouldnt be more than 700hp/tq anytime soon even after i upgrade some parts but want it to last. right now a stock 5.9 is putting out 400-440 @1600, not going be hauling all the time but when i do i want her to hold up with no problems. might call a transmission rebuilder if i can find his number and see what he says but just wanting to know who some of you have gone with

your meaning tq correct? and all depends on what your budget is. Ive always used transgo products in my trans except for my 4r100 and shelled out the money for a full bts trans.

I was just wondering what adapter you are using to bolt the trans up to the cummins?
Are you using the wave ring set up off of a 4bt bread truck?
