Upper control larm shafts? additional positive camber adjustment

   I'm just getting ready to put my control arms all back together after finally sandblasting priming and painting...I have two quesitons though:

   1)  Right now my upper control arm shafts are the stock ones, I noticed that ones that provided additional positive camber adjustment were
         available.  Moog and Raybestos makes them.  Should I order these or will my stock ones be just fine?  I'm running a 2" drop coil up
         front nothing to crazy.

    2) When reassembling the lower control arms what are the little counter sunk marks in them.  It looks like they are always aligned in the
         10 or 11 clock position?

On the lower arms if you are talking about the countersunk holes in the shaft they go into the u-shaped clamp.Thers is a dowel in there.When installing the arms to the frame\crossmember I leave the nuts on the end retaining the bushings loose until it is sitting in full rest position and then tighten them up. Keeps from putting the bushings in a bind

   Oh alright....Figured they had some purpose....thanks....any thought on upgrading the upper control arm shafts?

Have you considered an aftermarket upper? The factory ones are not all that great.

Like one from DJM or one of the other companies?? I'm not going with a huge drop so I didn't really think it was that nessary....I'm just more wondeirng about the upper shaft change in design that allows for greater camber adjustment....are these worth swapping to?

I guess it just depends on how far and how you do the drop.Usually plenty of room for adjustment with stock unless something is bent

   I'm using Summit's drop coils....I think they drop the front end 2"...I'm going to put it together and see how it looks.  Hopefully in the next few weeks the chassis will have a suspension on it....

I would definitely go with the offset shafts. They are cheap enough and you will have no problems with getting a perfect front end alignment.
