83 Chevy C10 Custom Deluxe
« on: October 24, 2014, 08:41:31 pm »
Working on a 83 Chevy with a 77 model 350 engine in it, when it is idling it idles smooth, but when you are driving it under normal conditions it has a bad dead miss. We have changed, Distributor, Cap, Coil, Wires, plugs, Carburetor, any ideas of what to check or anything to try please tell me, Thank you and God Bless You

A miss, or popping back through the intake?
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

pinpoint the affected cylinder. Perform a power balance test. (search the forum for this) Perform a compression test. The problem is the same after your tune up and carburetor replacement?
